Caroline Mandeville is Barings’ Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. She is responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies, processes and policies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the firm. She also oversees Corporate Properties as well as Corporate Citizenship, the firm’s philanthropic and community engagement efforts.

Previously, Caroline held senior human resources leadership roles across Nuveen and its parent company, TIAA. She served as Chief Human Resources Officer of Nuveen and most recently as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for TIAA Client Services and Technology. Earlier in her career, Caroline held HR business partner, organizational effectiveness, talent management and talent acquisition roles at The Hartford Financial Services and MassMutual Financial Group.

Caroline holds a B.S. in human resource management and an M.S. in management with a concentration in human resources from Wilmington University and an M.B.A. from Salve Regina University.
